A Night of Culture in Aarhus
KulturNat Aarhus which translates to the Night of Culture i Aarhus is a yearly event created by a range of cultural organisations and individuals which work and operate in and around Aarhus. KulturNatten celebrates and unites the cultural life in Aarhus by creating a series of events such as concerts, theatre, exhibitions, speeches etc. around the city.

The idea and motivation behind this event is a desire to expose citizens, city council, visitors, and all others interested to the many aspects of the cultural milieus that exist within the city. Furthermore, it is inspired by a commitment to offer new and alternative experiences based on cross-cultural encounters.

In this way KulturNat Aarhus should be understood as a laboratory or exploratory for new thinking patterns and synergy between the diversity of culture.
It is the hope of the organisation behind KulturNat Aarhus that this night of culture will help draw attention to the many opportunities this city has to offer thereby strengthening its cultural profile.

KulturNat 2011 takes place on friday the 14th of October 2011

We hope to introduce ticket sale from this site from around medio September 2011
Tickets to KulturNat Aarhus allows you to walk freely among the approximately 100 events taking place this evening. More information about the sale will follow.

Entrance prices are:

DKK Kr. 100,- for adults, (15 years old and above)
Free for kids, (0 – 14 years old)

On the night of the event entrance can be purchased from all venues participating in KulturNat Aarhus.
